With prices for most of the hotels listed in this week’s Forbes list averaging $1,100 per night, it’s easy to see why many people are willing to pay more for a room in these exclusive, high-end destinations.
But what do these expensive hotels actually look like?
According to Luxury Luxury, there are five of the most expensive hotels in the world: The Ritz-Carlton, the Shangri-La, the Ritz Carlton & Marriotts, and the Palazzo Nazionale.
Each of these properties includes two floors, two baths, a gym, an indoor pool, and rooftop pool with views over the ocean.
And for $1.5 million, you get to enjoy a balcony overlooking the ocean and a view of the beach and the city below.
There are also three of the six most expensive resorts in the United States, each with a pool, spa, and spa suite.
While most of these hotels are in the West, the luxury resorts of the Caribbean and the Middle East are the only ones in the U.S. that feature rooftop pools, swimming pools, or private beaches.
The four most expensive properties are located in Dubai, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, and are priced at $2,000, $2.5, $3,000 and $4,000 per night.
But those prices can easily drop to $200 or less for some rooms, depending on how you use them.
For example, if you’re staying in the Razzmatazz, which is one of the priciest hotels in this list, the room in the hotel will cost you between $200 and $300 per night for a private suite and a balcony.
There is also room for just one guest to share a room with two people in the Pala Mariam.
And when you factor in the fact that there are about a million guests in the Marriott World Club, the most popular hotel in the World, that can easily add up to over $5,000 a night, you have the luxury of being able to enjoy the world’s most expensive places.
