Poconas are a unique breed of hotel in Nevada.
They’re often overlooked by most people.
But that’s about to change.
There’s a growing demand for the Poconoso.
The trend is starting to catch on in Las Venegas.
Las Vegas Hotel and Casino Authority (LVCA) has announced it’s looking to add more Poconossos to the hotel mix.
Las Venega Hotels, which opened in Las Cruces in 2012, is one of the first of its kind in the country.
Its new $500 million hotel is one that is geared toward the Las Vegas market.
It opened at the end of March and has already sold out.
Its newest rooms have a $250 monthly fee.
Guests can choose to stay in a two-bedroom suite, one-bedroom or three-bedroom.
There’s also a $1,000 per night deposit.LVCA’s latest plans include adding more Pocos.
The agency is looking for room options that are comfortable and affordable.
One of the main reasons to get a Pocossos hotel is for the proximity.
They can be reached on the Strip or from the West Coast.
There are more Pocoos than there are hotels in the U.S.
Pocos are a small family business, with just five employees.
They make a good income, especially compared to hotels, so it’s a great way to make money in a small, tight community.
We wanted to make sure that the Pocoso experience was as close to Vegas as possible, said Mark Piscopo, a Poco’s co-owner.
The hotel is not just for the tourist.
Its also for the hotel owner.
We’re very happy with the performance of the Poco.
It’s been a great first year.
The customer service has been excellent.
We feel that we have a great deal of credibility with the hotel industry.
Our current plans are to add two more POCOS.
We also are looking at adding additional rooms for the new hotel and expanding the number of rooms available for guests.
